Valerian (Queen Valerian) is an NPC in the Royal Palace. She is located at the top of the stairs.
Lore
Queen Valerian is the queen of Sanctuary and pixies across Sacred Grove. As part of the royal family she is the sister of Princess Lavender and the direct descendent of Ayani. Valerian’s parents were killed by poisoning and when she began examining the crime the royal advisor,Geoffrey, blamed it on Lavender and the Chugawugs. Both were exiled. Lavender tore the Heartseed in half and secreted it away to Briarheart, where a dark version of the World Tree grew from the seed and was named Briarheart Palace.Lavender assumed the name of Darkthorne, in homage to Ayani’s twin sister, and rules from Briarheart Palace. The chugawugs either moved to Wugachug, took to a life of crime as Thugawugs, or followed Lavender to Briarheart as part of their obligation to protect the royal family.
