"Mining is fun - just ask any Dwarf! If you are ready to get your hands dirty, hop into exciting mining minigames, where you collect ore and gems as rewards. Miners start by harvesting copper and turquoise. As they level, they learn to dig for new metals, such as tin, silver, iron and even gold. Miners also smelt metal into bars that are used by Blacksmiths to make other cool weapons and armor."
The Miner is a Crafting job.

Unlocking Miner
Clicking an ore node or a furnace will begin the Become a Miner quest, which results in finding Therin in Snowhill.
The Miner job is unlocked by speaking to Therin.
Leveling
As a Miner, levels are gained through completion of minigames and/or quests specific to the Miner job. Completion of all quests and repetition of some minigames, will result in a level 20 Miner. Some quests are only available to members who have achieved level 20 as a Miner.
Equipment
There are four complete sets of clothing that the Miner will receive as rewards for completing the Miner quest series and minigames. The four sets are the Student Miner clothing, Amateur Miner clothing, Pro Miner clothing, and All-Star Miner clothing.
Vendors
The vendors who sell Miner equipment are:
- Boparock outside Mother Lode Quarry sells Tools (level 17) and Clothing (level 20)
- Brann Dirtwings outside Dartmoor Quarry sells Tools (level 1) and Clothing (level 20)
- Burritt outside Southvale Quarry sells Tools (level 9) and Clothing (level 20)
- Tennin inside Singing Crystal Mines sells Tools (level 1) and Clothing (level 20)
Collections
There are six collections specific to the Miner job. The spawns for these collections can only be seen while in the Miner job. The spawns occur near quarries. The six collections are Miner's Copper Ore, Miner's Silver Ore, Miner's Gold Ore, Miner's Precious Gems, Miner's Fancy Gems, and Miner's Special Gems.
